Eggleston at Annual Meeting of the Association for the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities - Oct. 22,1932 on Distinguished Descendants of Colonel Clement Read and Bushy Forest and Other Charlotte County Homes of the Early Reads. It was made in reference to Ingleside, the home of Col. Thomas Read being on this road - from Frances McGowan
