The dispensation was granted February 13, 1873, and thet Commandery was chartered November 14, 1873. Its first meetings were held in the second story of the old frame building at 1 14 N. Locust street. The charter members[,] - - - original sets of officers . . . [and] commanders . . . of the Commandery (see list below) under dispensation (Feb 1873) and under charter (Nov 1873):
