Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie No. 378

This aerie was organized May 14, 1903, and chartered on July 1, 1903, with its first meet ing place in G. A. R. hall. The charter members, . . . [those who] served as president [and] . . . secretries of the Aerie were (see list below).
This aerie entertained the state convention in 1912. . . . This lodge owns its
own home, with splendid grounds, on South Locust street. This home which was purchased for $12,000 is entirely paid for, and not only is the lodge without encumbrance or outstand ing indebtedness, but has total assets of over $20,000, a rather unusual record for a fraternal local organization.
