2. Private Elmer Martin Erickson,    Son of Charley Erickson, Riverdale, Neb.
Entered the service at St. Paul, April 26, 1918, and trained at Camp Funston, for duty with Co. G, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. Saw service at Argonne Forest and St. Mihiel, and later with Army of Occupation.

3. Corporal Thomas J. Russell,    Son of the late B. W. Russell, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., October 4, 1917, and trained at Camp Funston, for duty with Hdq. Co., 355th Infantry, 89th Division. Saw service at Jerry Woods and the last battle of Stenay, France.

4. Sergeant Clyde L. Rowe,    Son of Mrs. Alice A. Rowe, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Sept. 19, 1917, and trained at Camp Funston and Camp Cody, for duty with 164th Depot Brigrade, Ordnance Depot. Discharged December 28, 1918. Resides at Wichita, Kansas.

5. Lieutenant Maurice Barlowe Nye,    Son of Fred A. Nye, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Lincoln, Neb., in June, 1916, and was trained at Ft. Shelling and Camp Dodge, for duty with Co. A, 338th M. G. Battalion, 88th Division. Saw service in Belfort sector, and near Goudrecourt, France.

6. Private Alexander A. Schmidt,    Son of Mrs. Mary Schmidt, Shelton, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., July 21, 1918, and trained at Camp Dodge, for duty with M. G. Co., 19th Division. Received his discharge January 28, 1919.

7. Private Leo L. Struble,    Son of Frank R. Struble, Ravenna, Neb.
Entered the service at Grand Island, Neb., July 11, 1918, and trained at Camp Logan, Fort Sam Houston, and Presidio, Calif., for duty in Evacuation Hospital No. 17. Sailed from San Francisco, to Vladivostok, Siberia, Sept. 2, 1918.

8. Private Norris F. McCurry,    Son of O. S. McCurry, Litchfield, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., April 1, 1918, and was trained at Camp Funston, for duty as Provost Guard, in the Military Police. Discharged March 26, 1919.

2. George J. Cleary, Seaman Second Class,    Son of James A. Cleary, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., July 23, 1918, and was trained at Great Lakes Training Station and U. S. Radio School at Boston, Mass., for service in the U. S. N. R. F. Released February 15, 1919; and resides in Omaha, Neb.

3. Albert Fl. Scott, Baker Second Class. ,    Son of Lorenzo Scott, Ravenna, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., Feb. 5, 1918, and was trained at U. S. Naval Training Station, San Francisco, Calif., for duty in the U. S. N. Commissary Department. Discharged February 13, 1919.

4. A. J. Panek, Seaman,    Son of W. J. Panek, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Denver, Colo., June 18, 1918, and was trained at San Pedro, Calif., and Brooklyn Navy Yard, for duty as seaman on board U. S. S. South Dakota. Made one trip across, leaving N. Y. City October 27, 1918, convoy duty.

5. Walter E. Weist,    Son of Mrs. Sophia Weist, Shelton, Neb.
Entered the service at Salt Lake City, Utah, in September, 1918, and trained at a U. S. Naval Training Stati6n~ for duty in the Convoy Service. Still in the navy.

6. Elmer LeRoy Sanderson,    Son of P. A. Sanderson, Lincoln, Neb.
Entered the service June 22, 1918, and trained at Mare Island Naval Training Station, San Francisco, Calif., for duty U. S. Navy. Received his discharge February 19, 1919. Resides at Chappell, Nebraska.

7. Phil W. Proctor, Pharmacist Second Class. ,    Son of B. J. Proctor, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., in June, 1917, trained at the Great Lakes Naval Training Station, Great Lakes, Ill., for duty as pharmacist in the U. S. Navy. Discharged on April 24, 1919. Stock feeder, Kearney, Neb.

8. Earl Saunders, Seaman,    Son of E. R. Saunders, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., May I, 1918, and was trained at Great Lakes Naval Training Station, Great Lakes, Ill., for duty as seaman in U. S. Navy; and was on board the U. S. S. Wisconsin two months. Discharged Jan. 24, '19.

Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Oct. 17, 1918, through the S. A. T. C. at Kearney State Normal, for duty in Co. A, infantry organization. Remained in training until after the armistice was signed. Discharged December 10, 1918.

2. Sergeant Harry B. Rumbeck,    Miller, Nebraska.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., July 21, 1918, and was trained at Camp Dodge and Camp Alexandria, for duty with Co. 35, 163d Depot Brigade. Transferred to 316th Labor Bureau; landed at Brest Sept. 28, 1918. Discharged 4, 11, '19.

3. Private Jewell A. Gould,    Son of F. H. Gould, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Cheyenne, Wyo., in May 1918, and was trained at Ft. McArthur and Ft. Monroe, for duty in the Coast Artillery. Saw six months service in France. Re-enlisted and is stationed at Ft. Worden, Washington.

4. Corporal Norman Samwager,    Son of Mrs. Annie Budge, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Grand Island and was trained at Camp Logan and Camp Trevis, for duty in the United States Infantry. No other information was obtainable.

5. Private Archie C. Miller,    Son of Mrs. Josephine Miller, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Sterling, Colo., and trained at Camp Kearney, for duty in Battery C., Field Artillery. Saw service in the Argonne and St. Mihiel battles. Was in the hospital for two months with the flu.

6. Lieutenant Junius G. Oldham,    Son of W. D. Oldham, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Ft. Shelling, Minn., May 15, 1917, and trained for service in 339th F. A., 309th F. A., transferred to 5h [sic] F. A., 1st Division. Served in France from Aug. 3, 1918 to Feb. 1, 1919; in Germany from February 1, 1919, to Sept. 4, 1919. At home now.

7. Evert E. Axtell, Cook,    Son of Numan Axtell, Akron, Colo.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., May 2, 1918, and was trained at Fort Logan, Camp Fremont, Camp Mills, and Camp Lee, for duty with Co. A, Ammunition Train, 8th Division. Discharged February 1, 1919.

8. Private Ben H. Swartz,    Son of Sam Swartz, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., April 1, 1917, and was trained at Camp Funston, for duty as Military Police attached to Provost Guard, at Camp Funston, until discharged.

2. Captain Delbert L. Hibberd,    Son of Richard Hibberd, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., in May, 1917, and trained at Ft. Riley, for duty in the Medical Corps, 34th Division. Saw service at Le Mans, France in office of attending surgeon.

3. Sergeant David E. Laughlin,    Son of Mrs. D. Laughlin, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., June 23, 1918, and was trained at Ft. Riley, Kansas, for duty with the Medical Corps, First aid with French unit; later with English unit. After armistice was signed, transferred to American unit.

4. Howard J. Fisher,    Son of James H. Fisher, Ravenna, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Sept. 19, 1917, and trained at Camp Funston, and Camp Sevier, for duty in Co. D, M. G. Battalion. Saw service at Ypres, Voormezeele, Hindenburg line, Bellicourt, Nauroy, Premont, Escaufourt, Vaux Andigny. Discharged March 29, 1919.

5. Private Edward H. Eggering,    Son of Mrs. Herman Winters, Francitas, Texas
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., May 27, 1918, and was trained at Camp Dodge, for duty in Battalion F, 338th Field Artillery. Saw service in France, and later as military police, at St. Sulprie, France.

6. Private Albert B. Carlson,    Son of Alfred Carlson, Shelton, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., and trained at Camp Funston, for duty with Co. K, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. Saw service in the battles of St. Mihiel and Argonne. Discharged Jan. 28, 1919. Wounded in face and left arm.

7. Private John William Brudeen,    Brother of Mrs. Nora Wiley, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Baker, Oregon, April 8, 1918, and trained at Camp Lewis, and Camp Merritt, for duty in Co. C, 361st Infantry, 91st Division. Saw service at St. Mihiel, Argonne Forest, Verdun and Sheppy. Discharged May 10, '19.

8. Private Joel M. Carlson,    Son of Alfred Carlson, Shelton, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., and trained at Camp Funston, for duty with Co. K, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. Saw service at St. Mihiel, Argonne Forest and Army of Occupation. Discharged with his division.

Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., November 2, 1917, and trained for duty with the 8th C.o., Coast Artillery, at Fort Mills, Philippine Islands.

3. Corporal Roy H. Rasmussen,    Son of H. H. Rasmussen, Ravenna, Neb.
Entered the service at Lincoln, Neb., Sept. 5, 1917, and was trained at Camp Cody, for duty with Co. F, 109th Engineers, 34th Division. Saw overseas duty in central France at a large hospital camp. Discharged July 2, 1919. Resides at Ravenna.

4. Private Oliver Krause,    Son of Mrs. Mary Krause, Pleasanton, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Sept. 19, 1917, and was trained at Camp Funston and Camp Cody, for duty with Battery A, 127th Field Artillery. Saw service with A. E. F. in France. Discharged January 22, 1919.

5. Private Frank Krause,    Son of Mrs. Mary Krause, Pleasanton, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., March 4, 1918, and was trained at Ft. Riley and Camp Upton, for duty with Co. D, 53d Infantry (Pioneer) Division. Saw service at St. Mihiel and Argonne Forest. Discharged May 19, 1919.

6. Private Albert L. Berkheimer,    Son of Mrs. Margaret A. Berkheimer, Miller, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., May 27, 1918, and was trained at Camp Dodge and Ft. Snelling, for duty with Co. D, 29th Battalion, United States Guards. Discharged December, 24, 1918.

7. Private John F. Richter,    Son of John Richter, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Sept. 19, 1917, and trained at Camp Cody, for duty with Co. B, 26th Division. Saw overseas service for nine months. Discharged April 25, 1919. Farming near Kearney.

Private Walter J. Schnoor,    Son of Jacob Schnoor, Amherst, Neb.
Entered the service at Buffalo, Wyo., June 28, 1918, and was trained at Camp Lewis, for duty with Hdq. Co., 306th Infantry, 77th Division. Saw service in the Argonne Forest, and later in Army of Occupation.
