Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., May 28, 1918; trained at Camp Dodge, Camp Mills, and DeSouge, France, for duty with Artillery in 338th F. A., 88th Division. Met with two submarines while crossing, ship had to be towed into port. Discharged January 16. 1919.

2. Private Frank L. Stryker,    Son of Mrs. Mary L. Stryker, Kearney, Neb.
Entered service at Holdrege, Neb., Oct. 5, 1917; trained at Camp Funston, in 314th Sup. Train, Co. F 89th Division. Saw service in the St. Mihiel and Argonne-Meuse sectors. Discharged June 10, 1919.

3. Private Simon F. George,    Son of Frank George, Kearney, Neb.
Entered service at Kearney, Neb., Dec. 28, 1917; trained at Camp Funston and later in France with Headquarters Detachment, and Hospital Corps, later returning to this country for demobilization.

4. Private Archie E. Nickerson,    Son of Mrs. A. E. Nickerson, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Alliance, Neb., Dec. 13, 1917, and trained at San Antonio, Kelly Field, Dallas, Tex., for duty in the Field Artillery Co. F, 104th Am. Train, 29th Division. Saw service in England and France.

5. Corporal James V. McDermott,    Son of E. J. McDermott, Shelton, Neb.
Entered the service at Camp Funston, June 24, 1918, and trained at Ft. Shelling, Camp Funston and Camp Zachary Taylor for duty in Co. K 69th Infantry, 10th Division. Discharged Jan. 6, 1919. Practicing law in Shelton, Nebraska.

6. Private Dan Stock,    Son of Charles Stock, Victor, Colo.
Entered the service at Denver, Colo., in June 1918; trained at Fort Logan and Camp Lafayette, in the Signal Corps as a Radio Operator. Unassigned and received his discharge from the service in December 1918. Resides at Victor, Colo.

7. Private Amos Stock,    Son of Charles Stock, Victor, Colo.
Entered the service at Denver, Colo., May 26, 1917; trained at Fort Riley, in Field Hospital Co. 16, Second Division for duty in the Medical Corps. Saw service in the Verdun, Chateau-Thierry, Soissons, St. Mihiel and Argonne sectors.

8. Sargeant Hilliard F. Cameron,    Son of Dr. A. D. Cameron, Kearney. Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., in December, 1917, and trained at Camp Johnson and Jacksonville for service in the 344th Truck Co., and saw service on the principal fronts with the American forces.

Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., April 14, 1917, and trained at Camp Ashland, and Camp Cody, for duty with Co. L. 4th Neb., transferred to M. G. Co., 134th Infantry. Saw service in Paris, France, as Military Police.

2. Private Lucius U. Wilkie,    Son of James Wilkie, Shelton, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Sept. 19, 1917, trained at Camp Funston and Camp Cody, for duty with Co. M. 134th Infanry. In replacement to Co. H, 58th Inf., 4th Division. Took part in fighting at Chateau-Thierry and other offensives.

3. Private James Adam,    Son of Frank Adam, Ravenna, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney. Neb., Sept. 19, 1917, and trained at Camp Cody, for duty with the 32d Division in France. Saw service at Chateau Thierry, Soissons and Argonne Forest. Discharged April 29, 1919.

4. Carroll G. McComb, Wagoner,    Son of Mrs. Jessie McComb, Gibbon, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., April 18, 1917, and was trained at Camp Cody and Ft. Sill for duty with Supply Co., 127th Field Artillery. Saw service overseas for five months. Discharged January 22, 1919.

5. Corporal Fred D. Finke,    Son of Henry Finke, Grand Island, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., May 27, 1918, and trained at Camp Dodge and Camp Hancock, for duty with 1st Co. C., M. G. Corps. U. S. Infantry. Received his discharge papers December 6, 1918.

6. Sergeant Lewis Aldrich Hamilton,    Son of Arthur L. Hamilton, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Denver, Colo., in May, 1917, and was trained at Camp Logan, for duty in the Artillery Service of the U. S. Army. Discharged Nov. 14, 1918, resides in Denver. Colo., and in government employ in road construction.

7. Sergeant Clyde R. Leonard,    Son of Frank Leonard, Gibbon, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Sept. 19, 1917, and trained at Camp Funston, for duty with Co. M. 70th Infantry, 10th Division. Received his discharge papers on January 23, l919.

8. Private George A. Grosh,    Son of Somers C. Grosh, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., October 2, 1917, for training at Camp Funston. Saw service with Hdq. Co., 355th Infantry, 89th Division. Was at St. Mihiel and later battles; also with Army of Occupation in 89th Division.

Entered the service at Grand Island, Neb., Dec. 11, 1917, and trained at Great Lakes Naval Training Station, for duty in Co. H. 3d Reg. Transferred to High Power Radio Detachment, helping to build eight towers for wireless work.

2. William Ohl,    Son of William Ohl, Elmcreek, Neb.
Entered the service at Grand Island, Neb., April 29, 1918. and trained at the Great Lakes and Camp Logan. Illinois. for duty with the U. S. Navy. Received his discharge papers February 24. 1919.

3. Franklin S. Henninger, Musician,    Son of I. K. Henninger, Shelton, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., Aug. 9, 1917, and was trained at the Naval Base, Norfolk, Va., for duty in the U. S. Navy. Received his discharge papers April 9, 1919.

4. Harold T. Peterson, Chief Gunners Mate,    Berkley, Virginia.
Entered the service in January 1915, for four years and re-enlisting for four more years, has been instructor in the Seaman Gunner's School at Newport, R. I., until lately when he was sent to Berkley, Va., to inspect torpedoes for the new U. S. S. "Mason."

5. Frank E. Dermody,    Son of Mrs. Mae Dermody, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., May 5, 1917, and was trained at Great Lakes Naval Training Station, for service in the U. S. Navy. Crossed the Atlantic four times, and received his discharge March 29, 1919.

6. Ralph E. Dermody,    Son of Mrs. Mae Dermody, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Grand Island, Neb., Dec. 19, 1917, and trained at Goat Island, San Francisco, for duty in the U. S. Navy. Received his discharge papers in April, 1919.

7. Harold R. Lane,    Kearney, Nebraska.
Entered the service at Grand Island, Neb., Nov. 14, 1917, and trained at Great Lakes Naval Training Station, for duty in U. S. Navy. Saw service on U.S.S. Destroyer Rathburne, in convoy duty. Discharged February 16, 1919.

8. Private Lloyd Reynolds,    Son of S. S. Reynolds, Kearney, Neb. Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., February 29, 1918, and trained at Great Lakes Naval Training Station, for duty in the U. S. Navy. Was overseas as mechanic in Naval Air Station. Discharged February 15, 1919.

2. Private John Cruickshank,    Son of David Cruickshank, Big Springs, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., August 29, 1918, and trained at Camp Funston for service in the Field Artillery of Co. 29, 10th Division, receiving his discharge on January 24, 1919. Resides in Kearney, Nebraska.

3. Sergeant John Mrkvicka,    Son of Mrs. Marie Mrkvicka, Ravenna, Neb.
Entered the service at Ravenna, Neb., and trained at Camp Dodge and Newport News for service in Co. 342 A. P. O. 70l. Was with the Army of Occupation in Germany, during the summer of 1919.

4. Corporal Ralph W. Adams,    Kearney, Nebraska.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Oct. 3, 1917, trained at Camp Funston, for duty in Ordinance Dept., 15th Ammunition Train, later sent to Camp Mills, L. I., receiving his discharge February 18, 1919. Resides at North Platte, Neb.

5. William Howard Heagney, Master Gunner,    Son of Mrs. Elizabeth Heagney, Curtis. Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., Dec. 1, 1917; trained at Fort Scott, Calif., for duty in Coast Artillery, transferred to 54th Art. C. A. C., taking part in a counter attack at St. Mihiel drive, later in Argonne drive. Discharged Mar. 11, '19.

6. Sergeant Lyman Reedy,    Son of J. W. Reedy, Gibbon, Neb.
Entered the service at Seattle, Wash., in October, 1917, and trained at Camp Lewis, Wash., for duty in Signal Corps and Field Artillery, later going to France with 91st Division in Co. C. Field Signal Battalion. Discharged in February, 1919.

7. Private August Frederick,    Son of Robert Frederick, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., May 2, 1918; trained at Camp Fremont, Calif., for duty with the Ammunition Train, Co. A 8th Division. Received his discharge papers February 12, 1919.

8. Kenneth O. McEntee,    Son of Mrs. Margaret McEntee, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service through the S. A. T. C. at the Kearney State Normal at Kearney, Nebraska, and remained in training until after the signing of the armistice. At present resides in Kearney, Nebraska.

Entered service at Kearney, Neb., May 10, 1915, serving on the Mexican border, later training at Camp Cody and Fort Sill, transferring to Battery E 127th F. A., seeing service in France. Discharged from service January 22, 1919.

2. Varnard N. Brown, Musician,    Son of W. C. Brown, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., April 28, 1918, and trained at Camp Funston, for service with Co. K 355th Inf. 89th Division. Transferred in France to the Post Band at Alleroy, France, Hospital Center. Discharged May 18, 1919.

3. Private Albert W. Carlson,    Son of E. G. Carlson, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service in Minnesota, in February, 1918; trained at Camp Dodge, for duty with Co. I 326th Infantry, later seeing service in Battle of Argonne Forest, wounded at that time, but later returning with his division for demobilization.

4. Corporal Ernest J. Carlson,    Son of E. G. Carlson, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service in Minnesota in October, 1917; trained at Camp Dodge for duty with Co. D 24th Engineers. Saw service during the St. Mihiel drive. No report of his return to America.

5. George A. Keyser, Musician,    Son of Mrs. Mary D. Keyser, Kearney, Neb.
Entered service at Kearney, Neb., Aug. 1, 1917, training at Fort Crook and Camp Cody, going overseas with 121st F. A. 32d Division. Saw service in the Chateau-Thierry, Soissons, Verdun and Argonne Forest, joining band after armistice was signed, and receiving discharge papers May 19, 1919.

6. George D. Ice,    Son of Mrs. Sarah J. Ice, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Gothenburg, Neb., August 1, 1917, and trained at Camp Cody for duty with Co. K 59th Infantry. Saw service in France and later with the Army of Occupation in Germany, returning during summer of 1919.

7. Private Harvey Hall,    Son of James T. Hall, Gibbon, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., June 28, 1917, training at Camp Funston for duty with the 89th Division, later assigned to Military Police duty in the 89th at Camp Funston, sailing with them to France.

8. Corporal Edward J. Hall,    Son of James T. Hall, Gibbon, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., 1918 and trained at Camp Funston, for service in the 89th, being transferred to 164th Depot Brigade, handling conscientious objectors. Discharged December 7, 1918.
