Alexander A. Boone
Alexander A. Boone was born April 8, 1854 in Graves County KY. Alexander is found on the 1885 Florida State Census for Hernando County, along with his wife Anna E. Seay 2 years prior to the creation of Pasco County. They were residing in Pasco County at the time of the 1930 Federal Census. Residence prior to the 1885 has not yet been confirmed.

Reading left to right
are: Ernest and Etta (Foy) Boone; (grandparents of Pat Boone); Earl and Clara (Stevenson) Boone; (grandparents
of Mary Louise Gossum); Annie (Seay) Boone and Alexander A. Boone; Ernest and Earl were brothers and the sons
of William James Boone and Anna Blanche (Clanton) Boone. William James and Alexander were brothers.
Alexander A. Boone is the gentleman in the middle of the second picture. Mary Louise
believes that the others may be elected county officials. In the third Picture, Mr. Boone, is the gentleman
without a hat. Alexander A. Boone and his wife Annie E. (Seay) Boone, are buried in Dade City Cemetery.
The gentleman
sitting, in the third picture, has been identified as John "Jack" Thomas Tait, 3rd great-grandfather of Dixie
Tait Kirton. Mr. Tait was born in Thomas Co., GA in 1850. After serving in the Civil War, he moved to Pasco
County and married Catherine Wilson and they had 3 children. After her death, he married Nancy "Nanny" Croft
and continued to have a large family.
