I have considerable information on my FULKERSON ancestors dating to 1630, and quite a bit on Amos until he relocated to Florida. I am particularly interested in knowing if he is buried in Marion County. He may also have remarried in Marion County, having divorced my great-grandmother Rebecca STEWART. Any information or leads will be greatly appreciated.

BRANCH

posted by Mimi Branch Tolva on Thursday, September 10, 1998

I am looking for info on an individual named Samuel E.V. BRANCH. He came to FL. in 1834, at the age of about 3 or so. They settled in Marion County and were very active in settling the Ocala area. I don't know who his parents were, but I know a lot of close relatives settled there. Later, their part of the county was cut off to make Sumter Co. Samuel died in 1877. Any way to find his parent's names? I sure hope so. Thank you.

Are this Samuel (R.) Pyles the same S. R. Pyles in Louis G. Pyles household in 1860 U. S. Census at Newnansville, Alachua Co., FL? Is he Louis G. Pyles son? If so, who raised him after the death of L. G. Pyles in Archer in 1866?
