JESTER

posted by Steve Northsea on Wednesday, October 1, 1997

Since I am known to do genealogical research the local paper contacted me re: a lone grave site with headstone located at Dunnellon Airport. They want to find something out about the person buried there and try to keep from having the gravesite destroyed. Can anyone suggest how to find out about the person buried and why he is there of all places? The name was T. B. JESTER b. 10 August 1841 and d. 20 August 1909. Joseph WIMBERLY married Elizabeth BLITCH, daughter of Willis BLITCH around 1855. Both WIMBERLY and BLITCH were from South Georgia. Their daughter Julia WIMBERLY married Wallace Herbert PEGRAM from Kentucky around 1885. Their son Joseph Herbert PEGRAM moved his family to Leesburg, FL in 1917. Any information about the WIMBERLY, BLITCH, PEGRAM or allied families would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
