Westville Man Accidently Shoots Himself
Lonnie Hewett, aged about 45, of Westville, lies mortally wounded at his home as a result of a shot gun wound inflicted by his own hands. Hewett was returning from a fishing trip in his wagon and had his gun covered with a quilt and in attempting to uncover the gun it was discharged, the entire load taking effect in his groins. He was reported to be in a serious condition yesterday and his chances for recover are very slight, it was said.
LATER. - Hewett died from his wound yesterday (Thursday) morning at 8 o'clock.
