Susan (Rawlins) Lindsey would eventually remarry, to Henry F. Hurst, and would live in Suwannee County, before settling in Lafayette County. I have quite a bit of information on the Lindsey/Platt families if anyone is interested I would be glad to share information with them.

- Death: 11 Feb., 1874 (at 6:30 pm in Live Oak, Florida according to an entry in Nathan Lindsey's Bible)
- Children: John F. Lindsey's wife, Susan, was pregnant at the time of her husband's death. Their son, also named John Franklin Lindsey, would be born on 30 Sep., 1874.
