New Hope African American Cemetery
Jasper, Florida
New Hope (African American) Cemetery is located on NE 38th Street in Jasper, Florida, it is 5.0 acres in size. Hamilton County Property Appraiser Parcel 1879-000 in Section 4 Twp 1N Range 14E.
From downtown Jasper at Hatley Street and NE 2nd Avenue, take NE 2nd Avenue and travel 1/10 mile. Turn right onto 1st Street NE and travel 2/10 mile to where road forks, take the right fork which is NE 39th Drive and travel 5/10 mile road makes hard right curve onto NE 38th Street. Travel NE 38th Street for 5/10 mile and the cemetery will be on the right beside the home at 11511 NE 38th Street.
New Hope (African-American) Cemetery was first published by Winnie Smith Hodges in Cemeteries of Hamilton County in 1991. The cemetery was re-surveyed and photographed by Lesleigh Laite Butts on March 19, 2007.
