| 09-09 | McCormick | I am looking for information about Ray and Phoebe McCormick. I believed they worked on the Bear Creek Ranch leaving in 1936 to run a hotel in Douglas. I know they were in Neb. in the 1910 Census. Any information about the ranch would be nice. Thank you. | 12/30/09 | Kathy |
| 09-08 | Bowman, Frasher | Seaching for information about Ralph H. Bowman, a druggist in Glenrock during the 1920's and 1930's. He was son of Austin/Eliza Bowman of Iowa. He was married to Anna J. Frasher and had children Clifford, Mildred and Margaret who are listed in the 1920 census as living with him in Glenrock. I would also like to know if they married there and lived there. In the 1930 census, Mildred and Clifford are gone, assume they have married. Clifford would be 26 and Mildred would be 23. Margaret, still at home is 19. Did the family remain in Wyoming? Are they buried there? After the 1930 census, I can't find any mention of any of them. None of the other Bowman family moved to Wyoming so it is just this one group I am searching for. Thank you. |

He was the son of Zebulon Montgomery PIKE and Eliza LEAMER. I would be happy to send a pedigree sheet for George if you could provide an email address. Any information on his wife (if any), children, death, etc., would be greatly appreciated. |

| 09-05 | Farrar | In the early 1920's my grandfather, Walter Parker Farrar (b. 1886 in MO), came to WY to work in the oil fields near Glenrock. I am hoping it is not too late to finally learn what happened to him when he simply vanished. We do not believe he deserted the family because he had just sent money for them to join him in Glenrock. In 1925 my grandmother returned to KS with four of their five children. My father, Roy FARRAR (b. 1908), stayed in Glenrock, still searching for his dad. He worked for a rancher, perhaps by the name of Tarsick (sic), and ultimately graduated from Glenrock HS. | 09-04 | Deyo | Charles Hamilton Deyo, b 6 June 1886 and d 10 April 1941, received an honorable discharge at Cheyenne, Wyoming on 8 July 1919. He was a private US Marines, 16th Co., 20th Engineers, serial no 8883-774. I need a copy of his discharge registration for proof of service in order to receive a Veterans Memorial stone for his grave site in Monroe Co., Urbana Twp., Iowa. We are restoring this 150 year old cemetery and would like to mark his grave with the VA stone. I have his Grave Rigistration papers but need a second document as proof of WWI service. | 09-02 | Fisher | I am on a wild goose chase. William Augustus FISHER left a wife and 10 children in Maryland. His daughter said "he went West". The 1910 Federal Census for Ross, Converse, Wyoming has a William A. FISHER b 1848 in Maryland. Why would a man go to Ross, Wyoming between 1902-1910? What industry was there? He was not a young man. Mary and Mande married brothers Alex and James Brockway and eventually ended up in Montana. Andrew is the brother of twins Alonzo and Lorenzo Cooper who went to California in 1854. |
