F. Wm. Gartmann held his annual cheese meeting last Saturday evening and is the next man to "take up a step in the right direction." Considerable interest was manifested by voting, whereby a new, the testing system was adopted, while the old terms of giving "the yield" was abandoned by only one vote. Mr. Gartmann, whose reputation as a cheesemaker is well known, has had his factory in operation all winter and paid his patrons an average price of $1.20 per cwt. for milk delivered during the month of January.

McKinnon last year, purchased of Kunny Bros. the cheese factory situated one half mile east of Fredonia Station, Ozaukee county and Mr. Kalmerton will operate the factory. The price paid was $1,075.

F. W. Gartmann, cheese manufacturer in the town of Wilson, Sheboygan county, paid his patrons $1.17 per 100 lbs. for January milk.

The annual meeting of patrons of the cheese factory of F. Wm. Gartmann, town of Wilson, Sheboygan county, was held Friday afternoon, Mch. 6, when it was decided to make on the same terms as last year; 1 1/2c per lb. for all cheese that sells under 10c and 1 5/8c for all cheese that sells for 10c and over, and to pay by the test.
