Sheboygan County Photos

This photo shows my father at far right: Robert Piper, Taken in 1931. The names of the others appear above the airplane. They were all early pilots who were active in forming the Sheboygan Airport.

I was told the names of the men are: left to right, Anton Brotz Sr., Joseph Lindich, Melvin Thompson, Anton Brotz Jr., Carl Kohler, Joseph Richardson and for sure, the last person is my father, Robert G. Piper.

Any information about this picture, the history of the airport, and the men in this photo would be greatly appreciated!

Note: Additional Information about this photo was submitted by Al Baars.

The following has been sent to add to the photo: Melvin Thompson was the airport operator at the time and the aircraft in the photo is a 1929 Waco bi-plane.
