Missionaries To Visit Relatives In Cedar Grove

Cedar Grove - The Rev. and Mrs. Garret DE JONG and son, Conrad, missionaries in Kuwait, Persian Gulf, Arabia, arrived in New York City last Wednesday and have spent the past week in New York with Mrs. DE JONG's sister, Miss Jean KUYPER. From there they are continuing to Chicago, planning to arrive at Cedar Grove Friday. A public reception, which was announced for Thursday night, is being held Friday evening, May 27, instead, at the Cedar Grove Reformed church.

The DE JONG family are here on their furlough after six years of service in Arabia. Part of their vacation will be spent in Iowa with Rev. DE JONG's relatives. They will also make an extended visit with her parents, the Rev. and Mrs. C. KUYPER of Cedar Grove.

Mrs. DE JONG, who was formerly Miss Everdeen KUYPER, is a graduate of Hope College, Holland, Michigan, and was an instructor for some time at the Wisconsin Memorial academy. A host of friends join in welcoming the DE JONG family to Cedar Grove.
