Break In And Rob

Paul Moore Loses $80 When Burglars Enter His Place out on the Green Bay Road - - Key is used to gain Entrance.

The saloon and residence of Paul MOORE, corner Green Bay and Howard Road was entered sometime Saturday night and $80 in money taken besides a bottle of whiskey. A watch and several checks were not taken, indicating that the burglar was no novice at the business.

Mr. and Mrs. MOORE left Saturday evening to attend a dance and on their return at 4 o'clock Sunday morning discovered the doors open. Previous to going they had taken the money from the cash drawer in the saloon and secreted it in a closet upstairs. The burglar had gained an entrance to the house through keys and evidently knew where to look for the money as he made only a search of the closet. Sheriff FISCHER was notified and left immediately for the scene of the robbery to make an investigation. There is little or no clue as to suspicious characters were noticed in that neighborhood Saturday or Sunday.
