Remove Whistle At Noon

Drs. Bock and Elfers performed a successful operation on Amelia, the little daughter of Mr. John Mannebach, 1528 South Eleventh street at noon to-day, when the toy whistle which she swallowed some time ago was removed.

This was some two weeks ago and since that time she had been unable to take solid food. The whistle was located by an X-ray and was lodged in the intra clavicular space and was removed with an instrument known as a Probang. The operation was performed while the girl was under an anesthetic. This patient is doing nicely and will be in perfect health in the course of a few days.
