Newlyweds Have Returned From Wedding Trip

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Gartman have returned from a short wedding trip and are residing at 715 Spring avenue. Their marriage service on Oct. 19 was read by the Rev. Walter Laesch at 3:30 p.m., in the parsonage of Our Savior's Lutheran church.

The bride is the former Miss Ruth Steffen and her parents are Mr. and Mrs. William O. Steffen, 1018 Swift avenue. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Gartman, 2417 S. Eighth street.

As attendants the couple had Miss Margretta Uphoff, who was the maid of honor, and Fredrick Fibiger, who was chosen by the bridegroom to be his best man.

Members of the immediate families were served a wedding dinner at 6:30 o'clock at Croatian hall, where later 200 relatives and friends congregated for the reception.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Gartman were graduated from Central High school. The latter is employed at Hand Knit Hosiery Co., and the bridegroom at the Wisconsin Public Service Corp.
