Miss Anna Meyer Married To Anton Gartman Recently

Miss Anna Meyer, daughter of Mrs. Carl Meyer, who resides near Howards Grove and Anton Gartman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Gartman, of the town of Wilson, were united in marriage Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran church at Howards Grove by the Rev. Walter Kitzerow. Spring flowers attractively decorated the church for the service.

Miss Adela Burhop played the Lohengrin wedding march as the bridal procession entered the church and the church choir sang, "The Lord Is My Sheperd" during the service. Miss Burhop played soft bridal music throughout the ceremony. The bride's gown of white satin was fashioned in Princess style with a long train. Her flowing tulle veil fell from a turban trimmed with pearls and designed with a short nose veil, The shower bouquet which she carried was made up of pink roses and white lupine.

Miss Leora Gartman, only sister of the bridegroom, was the maid of honor and Miss Norma Franzmeier, the bridesmaid. Miss Gartman was gowned in yellow mousseline de soie made with a large ruffled collar and long ruffled skirt. Her hat and other accessories were in white and her flowers were tea roses and yellow snapdragons. Miss Franzmeier's gown was fashioned of green aqua lace and her bouquet combined yellow roses and pink snapdragons. George Meyer, the bride's only brother, was Mr. Gartman's best man and Alvin Reyer was the groomsman.

Mrs. Carl Meyer, the bride's mother, wore a brown silk dress with French lace and Mrs. Herman Gartman, mother of the bridegroom, was attired in black silk crepe.

A wedding dinner for 125 guests was served Saturday evening at the home of the bride's parents which was decorated in yellow, green and white with cut flowers. Out-of-town guests included Adam Stauss, Mr. and Mrs. William Stauss and family of Manitowoc, and Mrs. Louis Spindler of Kewaskum. Mr. Gartman and his bride are making their home on a farm in the town of Wilson.
