Communicated
(The) (mar)riage of Henry Burke and (Miss Ellen) Gahagan, two of the most
(popular) young people of Sheboygan occurred at the Catholic Church (in
Mitchell) at 9 o'clock in the forenoon, the Rev. B.J. Burke officiating.
Miss Mary Reddington acted as (bridesmaid) and Eddie Burke, brother (of the
gro)om, as groomsman.
(The bri)de was handsomely attired in (?) costume of pink silk with (?
trim)ming. The bridesmaid was (wearing?) a very attractive suit. The
(groom) and groomsman wore the cus(tomary) full dress suit.
After the ceremony was performed (the brid)al party repaired to the home (of
the bri)de's parents, where a sumptu(ous wed)ding feast was spread. There
(were) (ei)ghty guests present. The pres(ents) were costly and numerous.
Mr. Burke has, by his gentlemanly (?) and temperate habits won the (?) of
all his acquaintances and is (?) of the beautiful bride he has (?).
The happy couple have the (best) wishes of their large circle of (friends).
