Miss Reichert And Eugene Gartman Exchange Vows

Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church, Town Wilson, was the scene this afternoon for the three o'clock marriage of Miss Claris Jean Reichert and Eugene C. Gartman. The Rev. J. A. Wagner performed the service that united the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O.R. Reichert, Sheboygan Falls, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Gartman, route 1, Oostburg.

Miss Joyce Willadsen was the maid of honor, and Miss Carol Reichert, the bride's sister, was the bridesmaid. A niece of the bride and a cousin of the bridegroom, Marilyn Willadsen and Edward Beeck, served as flower girl and ringbearer, respectively.

Duties of the best man were assumed by Melvin Saas, with Charles Lorenz as the groomsman. Usher roles were taken by Reuben Reichert, the bride's brother, and George Reiss, cousin of the bridegroom.

Soloist for the wedding was Miss Nancy Burhop, who sang "O Perfect Love" and "A Faithful Shepherd Is My Lord". She was accompanied by Mrs. Anthony Gartman, organist.

A wedding supper is being served to 75 guests at the Johnny Fox place, and later there is to be a reception for 400 relatives and friends at Town Wilson hall. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Grosch, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Henry DeTroye, Alpena, Mich., and Mr. and Mrs. Jake DeTroye, Oshkosh, are among the many out-of-county persons attending the affair.

The newlyweds are not disclosing their honeymoon destination, but after May 9, they will be residing on route 1, Oostburg. The former Miss Reichert is a graduate of Sheboygan Falls High school, and works as an inspector at the Bemis Manufacturing Co., in Sheboygan Falls. Her husband, who is an alumnus of Oostburg High school, is engaged in farming.
