Miss Frieda Becher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Becher, of the town of Plymouth, and Herbert R. L. Gartman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Val Gartman, of the town of Wilson, were married at the Zoar Reformed church in the town of Rhine at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Prof. Frank Grether of the Mission House performed the ceremony.

The bridal party entered the church to Wagner's bridal chorus from "Lohengrin," played by Mrs. Fred Stransky, of Plymouth. The bride wore a dress of satin and flat crepe and a veil, and carried a bridal bouquet of pink roses and swansonia. The attendants were little Vernetta Reis, a niece of the bride, who was the flower girl. She wore a green frock and carried sweetpeas. Master Henry Reis, a nephew of the bride, was the ringbearer, who wore a white suit and carried the rings in a lily. Miss Mable Wittkopp, the maid of honor, wore a gown of purple, and the Misses Elenora Becher, sister of the bride, and Myra Reiss, were the bridesmaids. Miss Becher wore pink and Miss Reis blue crepe. They carried pink and white carnations. Willie Becher, a brother of the bride, and Arno Zimmerman attended the groom. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Becher home and a wedding dinner was served at 5 o'clock to about sixty guests. The decorations were pink and white.

The out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Val Gartman, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Senglaub, Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Grunewald and son, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Thielman and family, Melvin Herbst, from the town of Wilson; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dierelein and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Zimmerman, of Sheboygan; Mr. and Mrs. Peter DeTroy and family, of Sheboygan Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Grether, of Franklin; Mr. and Mrs. Benno Reis and family, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Roehring, Mrs. Fred Stransky, Joe Wapp and Norman Kalk, of Plymouth, and Frank Settlage, of Waukesha.

Mr. and Mrs. Gartman left on a honeymoon trip to southern Illinois and after May first will be at home on the groom's farm in the town of Wilson.
