SMITH-BOHNHOFF

The nuptial ceremony in which Miss Eileen Rose Smith became the bride of Robert W. Bohnhoff was performed at 10 O'clock Saturday morning in the rectory of St. Anna's Catholic church at St. Anna. The Rev. Clement F. Kern was the officiating clergyman. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. George W. Smith, route 2, Elkhart Lake, and Mrs. Ida Bohnhoff, 302 E. Mill street, Plymouth (Sheboygan county).

Two were bridal aids, Miss Alta Mae Smith, sister of the bride, in the role of maid of honor, (?) cousin, and John Kolb, Sr., sim- who came from Milwaukee to be the bridesmaid.(sic) Brothers of the couple, Kenneth A. Bohnhoff, the best man, and Joseph C. Smith, the groomsman, were the other attendants.

Thirty guests were served a wedding dinner at the Foursome at Crystal Lake, and during the afternoon, a reception was held there from 2 to 5 o'clock, 250 relatives and friends having been present for it.

Southern states are being visited and a trip along the Gulf of Mexico to Florida is being taken by the couple. After the motor trip, Mr. Bohnhoff and his bride will be home at 46 Selma street, Plymouth, sometime following Dec. 15.

A graduate of Elkhart Lake High school in 1945, the bride trained as a beautician in Milwaukee, where she was employed. Mr. Bohnhoff in 1943 received his diploma from Plymouth High school, and that same year entered the navy. He served in the Pacific area, and when he was discharged on May 18, 1946, he had the rank of SOMH 2/C. He has been working as a salesman for Katte-Leys Department store in Plymouth.

Schulz, Green Bay; Mr. and Mrs. David G. Jeffrey, Cudahy; Miss Nona Smithwick, Nanvoo,(sic) Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Bill O'Tradovec and Tom Smithwick, Mrs. Mae Smithwick, Kewaunee; Miss Julia Cain, Neenah; Miss Verla Weenink, Menasha (Article cut off)
