CHRISTMAS WEDDING

It was a pleasant gathering of relatives and friends that assembled Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 25, 1906 at 2 o'clock at St. Mary's church to witness the marriage of Edward Gunn and Miss Minnie Kelley. Rev. B.J. Burke pronounced the solemn words that made them one. They were attended by Misses (?)angus Gunn and Frances Kelley, Messrs. Philip Reilly and Thomas Henry. Miss Anna Lavey played the wedding march, while the bridal party walked up the aisle to the altar. After the ceremony and congratulations, the happy couple and friends repaired to the pleasant home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Kelley west of Cascade, where they partook of a nice wedding dinner. The weather which was fair and bright was only emblematic of the feelings of the merry party. Mr. Gunn is a promising young man and principal of La Mour High School and there is every reason to believe that he will make a husband as his fair bride will never regret having accepted. The lady of Mr. Gunn's choice is a most popular and estimable young lady and they will be cordially welcomed wherever they make their home. A happy and prosperous life is the wish of their many friends here. Mr. and Mrs. Gunn took the evening train for Green Bay to spend a few days with relatives.
