St. Mary’s Catholic church, Cascade, was the setting Sat. Apr. 1, for the wedding of Miss Sandra Wieland and Ronald
E. Sippel. The 11 a.m. double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Carl Wahlen.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Wieland, 150 Daleview, Plymouth, and the former presented her in
marriage to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Sippel, 508 Milwaukee Ave., Cascade.
The bride chose Miss JoAnne Alstetar of Plymouth as her maid of honor. The bridesmaid trio was comprised of Mrs.
Dale DeTroye, Miss Jacki Kampmann and Miss Susie Wittkopp.
Dennis Barber was asked to be best man and the groomsmen were Daniel Sippel, Alan Sippel, the bridegroom’s brother,
and Daniel Wieland, brother of the bride. Duties of ushering were performed by James Kapellen, the bride’s cousin,
and Jerry Sippel, brother of the bridegroom.
A dinner was served to 43 guests at Arndt’s Place and a reception for 400 relatives and friends was held at Kalk’s
east of Plymouth.
Both young persons were graduated from Plymouth high school, class of 1966. The former Miss Wieland was employed at
the Sentry Foods and her husband is employed at Bill’s Red Owl.
The newlyweds are residing at 10 Frederick st., Plymouth.
