Miss Johnson Is Recent Bride Of Eugene Feldmann

Grace Reformed church in Kohler was the scene on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 22, for the marriage of Miss Evelyn Johnson and Eugene Feldmann. The Rev. Roland Kley performed the 2:00 o'clock ceremony.

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gust. Johnson, route 2, Woodland road, chose Mrs. Arthur Strauss, the bridegroom's sister, as her matron of honor. Sisters of the bride, Miss Jean Johnson, and Mrs. LeRoy Ramminger, with Miss Margaret Wangemann, formed the bridesmaid trio. Barbara Henrickson and Jack Johnson, a cousin and a brother of the bride, were the flower girl and ringbearer, respectively.

Duties of the best man were assumed by Arthur Strauss, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and those of groomsman roles were LeRoy Ramminger, similarly related to the bride, Lloyd Vanduske and George Matzdorf. Guests were ushered by Ford Odell and Ray Bramstedt.

Soloist for the wedding was Thomas Nourse, who presented `The Lord's Prayer' and `Because.' He was accompanied by Emerson Norman, organist.

Thirty persons were served a dinner at Marty's Flamingo club. One hundred guests gathered at the home of the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Feldmann, route 2, Sheboygan Falls, for a reception, and that evening there was a dance at Laack's hall in Johnsonville. Mr. and Mrs. Francis Rehm and daughter, Tomisena, Milwaukee, were guests from outside the county.

Wisconsin Dells and Minnesota were visited by the newlyweds, who shortened their trip due to the illness of Mr. Feldmann's grandfather. They now are residing with the bridegroom's parents.

The former Miss Johnson attended Kohler High school, and has been employed in the brass department at the Kohler company. Her husband, who had his diploma from Plymouth High school, works on his father's farm.
