Marriage promises were repeated on Saturday by Miss Janice M. Badura and Rodger L. Holton, Newark, Del., during a 7 o'clock nuptial ceremony at Grace Evangelical and Reformed Church, Kohler. The Rev. Armin Duchow performed the service.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Badura, 543 High St., Kohler, and the bridegroom's father and mother are Mr. and Mrs. Walter D. Holton, Lewiston, N.C.

Lace made up the bodice of the bridal gown, which had a skirt and train of slipper satin. The bride's fingertip veil was secured to a beaded halo effect. She carried a bouquet of white carnations and holly. Her father gave her in marriage.

Identical aqua gowns of nylon lace and net with three-tiered skirts of ballerina length were donned by the maid of honor, Miss Mary Lee Ebben, and the bridesmaid, Miss Mae Miller, both of Kohler. They held colonial bouquets of red carnations and had headpieces to match.

Best man for the ceremony was Len A. Fox, Florence, Ala., and the groomsman was Ray P. Grabowski, Baltimore, Md. A brother of the bride, Robert J. Badura, and Richard Gascoigne were ushers.

During the service Miss Elaine Goldmann sang `Because' and `The Lord's Prayer.' She was accompanied by Miss Luane Kolb.

Grand Hotel was the scene of a buffet supper and reception for about 250 relatives and friends. The following morning 30 guests from out-of-town had breakfast at the home of the bride's parents.

Although the destination of the wedding trip was not disclosed, after Jan. 31, 1953, Mr. Holton and his bride will reside in University Apartments in Newark, Del.

The former Miss Badura is a graduate of Kohler High School and attended the University of Wisconsin, where she was affiliated with Sigma Epsilon Sigma. He husband received diplomas from Friend's School, Wilmington, Del., and from Staunton Military Academy. He is a student at the University of Delaware and belongs to Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.
