Miss Rose Stirdivant Is Bride Of Jerome Biederwolf
Jerome J. Biederwolf and his bride of Saturday, November 19, the former Miss Rose Stirdivant, now are residing at
2533 S. Eighth street, this city. The two young persons were married by the Rev. Louis F Koren before he celebrated
the 9 o'clock nuptial mass in Ss. Cyril and Methodius church.
Mr. and Mrs. William Geltemeyer, a brother-in-law and sister of the bride, were the best man and matron of honor,
respectively. Other attendants were Mr. and Mrs. David Dahmer, the bridegroom's brother-in-law and sister, and Mr.
and Mrs. Alvin Mueller. Usher roles were taken by Clem Leonard and Alfred Biederwolf.
`On This Day, O Beautiful Mother' was presented by the church choir, which also sang the mass.
Twenty-six guests had a noon dinner at the Bismarck penthouse and Mrs. Curtis Krunen, the bride's cousin of Cedar
Grove, was the toastmistress. A buffet luncheon was served at the Geltemeyer home at Sheboygan Falls, and later
there was a reception and dance at 99 hall.
Relatives and friends from outside the county were as follows: Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kahnke, Oshkosh; Mr. and Mrs.
Orville Rhinegans, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Biederwolf, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Biederwolf, Alfred Biederwolf,
Wauwatosa; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Koeppe, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Koeppe, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kiselhorst, Mr. and Mrs. Jack
Murray, Manitowoc; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Grasse and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Grasse, Sturgeon Bay.
Sheboygan Falls High school and the Sheboygan County Normal school are alma maters of the former Miss Stirdivant,
who was a teacher at one time. She now is employed at the Kohler company. Mr. and Mrs. George Stirdivant,
Sheboygan Falls, are her parents. Her husband, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton L. Biederwolf, 708 Superior avenue,
attended North High school and works as an automatic brass buffer at the Kohler company.
Prior to her marriage the bride was feted at several parties. A miscellaneous shower was given by neighbors at the
home of Mrs. Eugene Rowe, Sheboygan. The honoree also received a corsage. Mrs. Krunen had a group of relatives at
her home in Cedar Grove, and the feted guest was presented with a gift. The bride received personal presents when
her sister, Mrs. Geltemeyer, had a party for her at her home in Sheboygan Falls.
