Miss Drews And Albert Beyersdorf Exchange Vows
The marriage of Miss Joyce Drews and Albert Beyersdorf, Jr., took place Saturday afternoon in Immanuel Lutheran
church. The Rev. H.J.A. Bouman performed the 2 o'clock service.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Strohschoen, a brother-in-law and a sister of the bridegroom, were the best man and the matron
of honor, respectively. Miss Marion Opgenorth served as bridesmaid, and Arno M. Drews, Jr., the bride's brother,
was the other attendant. Stanley Lorger and Clyde E. Wendt provided the music.
Both the reception for 250 guests and dinner for the bridal party, were at the home of the bride's parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Arno F. Drews, route 3, N. Twenty-ninth street. Out-of-county guests were Mr. and Mrs. Clyde E. Wendt,
Paul Beyersdorf, Waukegan, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Roets and Michael, Mr. and Mrs. John Drew and Gail, Milwaukee,
and Henry Lorger, Madison.
A week is being spent at Cedar Lake, and after June 5, the newlyweds will be residing at 37 Washington Park,
Waukegan Ill., where Mr. Beyersdorf is doing landscaping. Both young persons are graduates of Central High school,
and the former Miss Drews is a beautician. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Beyersdorf, 1713A Erie avenue, are parents of the
bridegroom.
