A very pretty wedding was solemnized at 4 p.m. today at the home of Mr. and Mrs. August Klewe, 514 New York avenue, when their daughter, Miss Adele was united in marriage to Henry G. Hillemann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hillemann, Sr., 434 Lincoln avenue.

Promptly at the appointed hour and to the strains of Lohengrin's wedding march played by Arthur Kuhnert's string orchestra, the bride descended the stairs, followed by her bridesmaid, and proceeded through the living room into the parlor where she was met by the groom and the best man. The ceremony was performed in the southeast corner of the room amid a bower of ferns and palms and white lilies by the Rev. C.P. Schulz of Trinity Lutheran church. Miss Erma Klewe, the bride's sister, was the bridesmaid and Walter Friese the best man.

The bride wore an exquisite gown of white satin and real lace and a becoming picture hat of white soliel. She carried a shower bouquet of swansonia. Her sister was gowned in white net over yellow satin. She wore a white satin hat with yellow facing and her flowers were an arm bouquet of yellow roses.

Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served in courses. The table decorations were in white roses and smilax and the relatives of the couple were guests. During the dinner selections were rendered by Kuhnert's orchestra.

The decorations in the living room were very attractive. Baskets of lavender honeysuckle were used in profusion and smilax was suspended from various points.

The evening will be spent in dancing and in a social manner. The Harmony Jazz orchestra will play.

The bride is a charming and very accomplished young lady. She is a graduate of the local high school with the class of 1914 and of Milwaukee Normal school with the class of 1916. For the past three years she taught in the Franklin school of this city.

The groom is also a graduate of the local high school with the class of 1914. He is president of the Hillemann Clothing Company and cashier of the Falls State Bank, Sheboygan Falls. Several months ago he received his honorable discharge from the navy, having served ten months as a submarine listener. He enlisted in Milwaukee and after training at Great Lakes Naval Training Station was transferred to New London, Conn. He is also a member of the Alpha Delta Sigma Fraternity.

Mr. and Mrs. Hillemann have gone on a week's honeymoon trip and upon their return will make their home with the groom's parents, where they will be at home to their many friends after October 1. They have a host of friends who extend felicitations.

The out-of-town guests who attended the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Gram and two children, and Mr. and Mrs. R. Owen and daughter, Ruth, Milwaukee, and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Friedricksen, Antigo.
