Baskets of mixed flowers decorated the interior of St. Peter Catholic Church, Oshkosh, today, for the wedding of Miss Patricia Molus to James Arthur Behring. The nuptial mass was performed by the Rev. Francis M. McKeough. Music for the double ring service was provided by the organist, Miss Sharon Putzer, who accompanied the soloist, Miss Marilyn Schroeder when she sang “On This Day O Beautiful Mother,” “The Lord's Prayer” and “The Wedding Prayer.”

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Joseph Molus Sr., Oshkosh, and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Behring, 218 E. Park Lane, Kohler.

The bride, who was escorted to the altar by her father, was attired in a floor-length gown of embroidered Swiss organdy, which was fashioned with a shallow scoop and scalloped neckline, cap sleeves and a bouffant skirt of embroidered organdy accented with a flounce of plain organdy that extended into a sweep train. A pearl crown secured her fingertip veil of imported silk illusion and she carried a white orchid on top of a prayer book with a rosary and fastened red rosebuds.

Maid of honor was the bride's sister, Miss Jacquelyn Molus, Oshkosh, while bridesmaids were Miss Sharon Bowman, Miss Betty Wolf, Berlin and Miss Mary Behring, Chicago, Ill., the bride's sister. The attendants were identically gowned in cocktail-length dresses of blue organza over taffeta, with Venice lace medallions etched on the wide bodice, which extended to a V at the back. The skirts had deep gathers of white sheer and lace. To complete their ensembles, they wore matching pillboxes with flare veils. A white basket of pink tea roses, white carnations and ivy streamers was held by each of the attendants.

As best man the bridegroom chose Charles Meid, Kohler, while groomsmen were Thomas Wotruba, Stevens Point, Rodney Salzewedal, Sheboygan, and a cousin, Richard Mayer.

Dinner was held at the church hall for the immediate family and relatives, and a reception is being held from 3 until 8 p.m. at the American Legion Clubhouse.

Address of the newly married couple will be 42 Blackbird Lane, Oak Park Trailer Ct., Madison. The destination of their wedding trip is unknown.

A graduate of Oshkosh High School and St. Vincent's Infant and Maternity Hospital, Chicago, the bride is currently employed at Universal C.I.T. Credit Corp., Madison. The bridegroom received his diploma from Kohler High School, was graduated from the University of Wisconsin and is in graduate school working toward his Master's Degree in metallurgical engineering, a field in which he now is teaching at the University. He is affiliated with Theta Chi fraternity.

Guests present from a distance were residents of Denver, Colo., Chicago and Rockford, Ill., Janesville, Jefferson, Kohler, Sheboygan, Ripon, Berlin, Madison, Green Lake, Princeton, Omro, Kiel and Cleveland.
