Miss Klein Is Bride Wednesday At Church Here
Candles illuminated the First Christian Reformed church for the 7 o'clock service there Wednesday evening in which
Miss Helen Klein became the bride of Julius Van Der Weele, son of Mr. and Mrs. Quentin Van Der Weele, 1513 Martin
Avenue. The Rev. E.B. Pekelder performed the nuptial ceremony.
The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Klein, route 1, Waldo, was given in marriage by her father. Miss
Marjorie Van Der Weele, sister of the bridegroom was in maid of honor role, with Mrs. Leonard Rusch and Miss Mabel
Butzen forming the bridesmaids' duo.
Marvin Klein, the bride's brother, served the bridegroom as best man, and John Van Der Weele and Wesley Van Der
Weele, cousins of the bridegroom, acted as groomsmen. Guests were ushered by Art Borsse and Vernon Klein, the
latter a brother of the bride.
Mrs. John Leys presented two selections, "O Perfect Love" and "The Lord's Prayer," while her husband accompanied her
at the organ.
Later in the evening a reception was held at Croatian hall for 130 guests.
Following their trip through northern Wisconsin and Michigan, the couple will be at home at 629 1/2 N. Fourth
street.
The former Miss Klein is employed in the office at the Sheboygan Chair company, after attending Waldo High school
and the Sheboygan Business college. Her husband received his education at Central High school, and spent three
years overseas in the service, prior to his discharge last December. At present he works at the Phoenix Chair
company.
