Miss May Olsen and R. Guckeisen Married Today
A pretty wedding was solemnized at 8 a.m. today in St. Peter Claver church, when Miss May Olsen, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Ingvald Olsen, East Pennsylvania avenue, became the bride of Raymond Guckeisen, son of Mr. and Mrs. John
Guckeisen, 1839 S. Thirteenth street. The Rev. J.P. Van Treeck, pastor at the church, performed the ceremony and
the wedding processional was played by Prof. Joseph Feustel. During the ceremony the choir rendered selections.
The bride wore a gown of white jersey satin and a tulle veil fastened in St. Joseph's effect. She carried a shower
bouquet of roses and swansonia. Miss Marie Steinmetz attended the bride. She wore white organdie and carried an
arm bouquet of roses. The groom was attended by his brother, Arthur Guckeisen.
After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents and a wedding dinner was served.
Decorations were in a color scheme of pink and white, cut flowers being profusely used.
Mr. and Mrs. Guckeisen left on the 4 p.m. train for a honeymoon trip to Milwaukee, Chicago and Oshkosh and after
August 1 will be at home to their many friends at 830 High avenue.
The young couple is well known and have a host of friends who extend felicitations. The bride has been employed in
the office of the J. & W. Jung company store and the groom is a bookkeeper at the Bank of Sheboygan.
