A quiet wedding was solemnized at St. Michael's church Wednesday June 11, by the Rev. Fr. Burke of Cascade. The happy couple were Miss Laura Gilboy, one of Mitchell's most accomplished young ladies and Michael Flood of Eden. The bride was attended by Miss Mabel Hoy and Matt Flood brother of the groom acted as best man. The bride was attired in white silk organdie and carried bridal roses. The maid of honor wore pale blue silk and carried carnations.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's mother only relatives being present. The newly married couple left for Minneapolis where they will visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Flood a brother of the groom, and after a tour of other western points will return by way of Chicago. They will be at home to their many friends after July 1st at Eden - Campbellsport News.
