Marriage Of Miss Johnson On Saturday

The marriage of Miss Leona Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Johnson, 1303 Bluff avenue, and Carl H. Stuemke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Stuemke, 920 S. Fifteenth street, took place Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock in the parsonage of St. John's Evangelical church, the Rev. E.R. Krueger, pastor, reading the service.

The bride wore a gown of white satin with a tight bodice and full skirt. She carried an arm bouquet of roses, white baby chrysanthemums and pompoms. Miss Mabel Moenning, cousin of the bridegroom, and Andrew Johnson, Jr., brother of the bride, were the attending couple. Miss Moenning wore a frock of peach taffeta and carried an arm bouquet of roses and yellow chrysanthemums.

A reception at the home of the bride's parents was held after the ceremony and decorations were in pink and white. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson and daughter, Shirley, of Manitowoc, were out-of-town guests. The young couple left on a honeymoon trip keeping their destination a secret. They will make their home with the bride's parents, Bluff avenue.
