Miss Julia Wagner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wagner of Cleveland, Route 2, and Alfred W. Behring, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Behring of Kohler, were married this morning at 9 o'clock at a lovely mid-summer wedding solemnized at St. Wendel's church at Cleveland. The Rev. Father Henry Halinde read the nuptial high mass during which the couple were wed. Assisting Father Halinde at the altar were the following servers: Alphonse Wagner, brother of the bride, James Wagner, Wilfred and Clarence Schmitt, cousins of the bride.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was gowned in white satin with a tulle veil, fashioned in cap effect and caught with pearls. In her arms she held a shower bouquet of white roses, babybreath and bachelor buttons.

For her maid-of-honor the bride chose her sister, Miss Emma Wagner, who was attired in a green taffeta gown, a picture hat, and matching accessories. Mixed flowers designed her bouquet.

Organdy frocks and picture hats were worn by the two bridesmaids, Miss Helen Behring, appearing in pink, and Miss Betty Schloss in blue. Their flowers were bouquets of pink and blue larkspur.

The little flower girl, betty Drexler, niece(?) of the bridegroom, presented a colorful picture in her frock of yellow organdy complemented with a yellow bonnet trimmed with green, pink, and blue. She carried a yellow basket in which were yellow snapdragons and sweet-peas.

Frederick Sand, nephew of the bridegroom, who was the ringbearer, wore a black and white satin suit and carried the rings on a silk pillow shaped like a rose.

Arthur Behring was his brother's best man and Harry Wagner, brother of the bride, and Melvin Behring, cousin of the bridegroom, were the ushers.

Just before the bridal procession entered the church, Mrs. Henry Meyer and Loretta Wagner, sisters of the bride, sang, "On This Day O Beautiful Mother", and Mrs. Meyer played the wedding marches from Lohengrin and Mendelssohn for the processional and recessional, respectively.

The aisle and sanctuary of the church were decorated with ferns and beautiful cut flowers.

Mrs. Wagner, mother of the bride, wore a brown ensemble with matching accessories and Mrs. Behring, the bridegroom's mother, also chose a brown dress. Both women wore shoulder corsage bouquets.

A wedding reception was held at the home of the bride's parents where dinner and supper were served to about one hundred and forty guests. The colors of green and yellow were used to decorate the home. This evening a dance will be held at Tourist Inn in honor of the newlyweds.

Guests from out-of-town are from Chicago, West Bend, St. Ann, Glenmore, De Pere, Green Bay, Greenville, Kiel, Kohler and Sheboygan.

The bride, who was honored at several delightful pre-nuptial parties, was employed at the H.C. Prange company for six years previous to her marriage. Mr. Behring holds a position at the Kohler company.

Mr. and Mrs. Behring are not revealing the destination of their honeymoon, but after August 15 they will be at home to their friends in Sheboygan.
