Miss Vreeke Becomes Bride

In a 2:30 o'clock marriage on Saturday, Miss Florence Vreeke and Melvin Steffen were wed by the Rev. H.H. Wegner in the parsonage of Bethlehem Lutheran church.

Miss Lorrayne Vreeke attended her sister as maid of honor, with Miss Mary Heggen as the bridesmaid. Duties of the best man were assumed by Roy Steffen, the bridegroom's brother. Kenneth Ruppel was in the groomsman's capacity.

Dinner was served at the Grand Hotel for the immediate families. The bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Vreeke, 1715 N. Fourth street, were hosts at the reception, held at their home.

Details of the couple's wedding trip were kept a secret, but the newlyweds will be at home, after January 25, with the bride's parents.

Before her marriage, the former Miss Vreeke worked at the Public Letter Bureau. She attended North High school. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Steffen, 1808 S. Twelfth street, the bridegroom was graduated from Sheboygan High school. He now is employed by the Chicago and Northwestern railway.
