Miss Steffen And Pfc. Ernst Zehms Wedded Saturday

At 7:30 o'clock on Saturday evening in Bethlehem Lutheran church, Miss Delores Steffen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Steffen, 1808 S. Twelfth street, pledged her nuptial vows with Pfc. Ernst C. Zehms, Jr., Bolling Field, Washington, D.C., son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernst C. Zehms. His father was a former sheriff of Sheboygan county. The Rev. H.H. Wegner read the marriage ceremony.

The bride was attired in a silk marquisette gown fashioned with a torso length bodice and bouffant skirt with a deep ruffle around the hemline of the skirt and long train. Chantilly lace fashioned the tiara which held her fingertip length veil. She held a bridal bouquet of white flowers.

Her attendants were Miss Elvera Fischer as maid of honor and Miss Carol Steffen as bridemaid. The junior attendant was Arlene Henning.

Wilbert Zehms attended his brother as best man and the ushers were the bride's brother, Melvin Steffen and James Ebbers of Oostburg.

During the evening there was a reception at the Pleasant hall.

After a short wedding trip Mrs. Zehms will return to Sheboygan and her husband to Bolling Field. She will join him later.
