The bride wore a gown of white georgette, trimmed with beads and her veil was arranged in Spanish effect, trimmed with pearls and orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of carnations, sweetpeas and bachelor buttons.

Miss Mary Drews, a sister of the groom, was the maid-of-honor. She wore a lavender chiffon voile dress, trimmed with lace and carried an arm bouquet of pink carnations. Stanley Lorger, brother of the bride was the best man.

A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents after the ceremony, where the decorations were in a color scheme of lavender and white. At six o'clock a wedding dinner was served to 100 guests and after the dinner dancing was enjoyed.
