Sheboygan Press, Wed, Nov 3, 1948, p25

Nuptial promises were made by Miss Mildred Zimmermann and Helmuth Eberhardt at 5 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Our Savior's Lutheran church was where the Rev. Walter Laesch read the service in which the daughter of Mrs. Theodore Zimmermann, 927 Union avenue, was wed to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Eberhardt, route 2, Sheboygan.

Mrs. Robert Metschef, matron of honor, Mrs. Joseph Zavrl, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Phyllis Neese, the bride's cousin, comprised the trio of bridal attendants. Best man, Heinz Reisner, with two groomsmen, Ted Zimmermann, brother of the bride, and Dennis Krushke, stood with the bridegroom in the front of the church. Guests were shown to places by Ervin Eberhardt, brother of the bridegroom, and Henry Zinkann, the bride's cousin.

Organist for the service was Mrs. Fred Kallien, who played bridal airs, and accompanied Mrs. Charles Faber, when she sang, "O Perfect Love" and "The Lord's Prayer".

The wedding party and immediate families were entertained at a dinner served at the Grand Hotel. Those from away were: Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Lorenzen, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Harris, Mr. and Mrs. Al Zenker, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Vider, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Reisner, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schnabel, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Laubush, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Witzenbache, Miss Dorothy Reisner, Miss Delores Grub, Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Burtard and family, Manitowoc, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Schoen, Chicago, and Andrew Bartel, Madison.

A secret honeymoon is being taken, and after Nov. 15, the Eberhardts will be at home at 1521 S. Twentieth street. Both attended Central High school from which the former Miss Zimmermann was graduated. She is a pay roll clerk at Jung Shoe Mfg. Co. Her husband is a mason for Haun and Eberhardt.
