Last Tuesday, Nov. 12th, at Ripon, the marriage of Matt. Bowser, formerly of
Mitchell, this county, and Miss Mae Hill, an accomplished young lady of that
city, was solemnized at the Catholic church, Rev. Father Norton performing
the ceremony.
The bride was charmingly attired in a French blue suit and picture hat,
while the groom wore the customary suit of black. The bridesmaid was Mrs.
Wm. Lindsay, who wore a taupe coat and taupe picture hat. Wm. Lindsay acted
as best man. The bride is a young lady of Ripon, who is spoken of very
highly and who has a charming personality. The groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Joseph Bowser of Sheboygan, and a young man of sterling qualities, who
will certainly make good, if unforeseen circumstances do not interfere. He
is at present manager of a store in Ripon, which he has conducted for some
time. The young people will make a short wedding trip to Sheboygan and
Milwaukee after which they will be at home to their friends at Ripon.
A four course dinner was given in their honor at the home of the groom's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Bowser in Sheboygan on Nov. 12th to the immediate
relatives.
To the happy couple the friends of Mr. and Mrs. Bowser in Plymouth and
surrounding country extend hearty congratulations for a life of happiness
and prosperity.
