Mr. and Mrs. Wallace N. Reding, who were wed on Saturday morning, now are
traveling to California and other western states on their honeymoon trip.
The former Miss Virginia Baumann and Mr. Reding were married prior to a 10
a.m. nuptial mass in the St. John the Baptist Catholic church at Plymouth.
The Rev. A. J. July was the celebrant.
Attendants of the bride were Miss Bernice Heisdorf, the bridegroom's cousin,
as maid of honor, and three bridesmaids, Miss Rosemary Roehring, Miss Yvonne
Zinkgraf and Beverly Baumann, the bride's sister. The latter was in a junior
capacity.
Responsibilities of best man were taken by Richard Baumann, a brother of the
bride. Groomsmen were Oscar Voechting and Roger Siegworth, the bridegroom's
cousin.
Mrs. Irma Burke was organist for the wedding, and also accompanied Miss
Dorothy Trimberger, who sang "Ave Maria" and "On This Day, O Beautiful
Mother".
Guests, numbering 65 persons, enjoyed a noon dinner, and 350 relatives and
friends attended the reception during afternoon hours. Later the newlyweds
left on their honeymoon trip, and about July 1, will be residing at 1946A N.
Ninth street.
The bride is a graduate of Plymouth High school, and also attended Lawrence
college, Appleton, where she affiliated with Alpha Chi Omega social sorority.
Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Baumann, 15 Selma street, Plymouth, are her parents. Her
husband, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raphael Reding, Haven, received his diploma from
Central High school, and served with the Marine corps. He is affiliated with
his father in a garage.
