Thielman-Krause Nuptials Are Held In Town Wilson

Miss Valerie V. Thielman and Donald Krause were the bridal pair in a service held at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon in Trinity Lutheran Church, Town Wilson. Officiant was the Rev. W. C. Stoehr.

The vases on the altar held white gladioli, pompons and chrysanthemums. Numbers by the organist, Mrs. Lelah Gartman, were "Lord, Who at Cana's Wedding Feast," the processional, and "Let Us Ever Walk With Jesus," the recessional. She also accompanied Gerald Wilson, who sang, "O Perfect Love" and "Take Thou My Hands and Lead Me."

Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Thielman, R. 3, Sheboygan, are parents of the bride. Her gown was patterned with a fitted bodice, jewel neckline, sheer yoke and long, pointed sleeves. The full, ruffled tulle skirt had an overlay of the tulle and rosepoint lace over the skirt. A short peplum was a detail of the front of the gown and a full length of lace tapered from it to the floor in back. The queen's crown of silk illusion leaves, adorned with pearls, was attached to the silk illusion veil. For floral accent she held a cascade arrangement of golden rapture yellow roses and garlands of stephanotis and ivy. Her father presented her in marriage to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arno Krause, R. 3, Sheboygan Falls.

Trio of bridal aids comprised Miss Janice Krause, sister of the bridegroom, the maid of honor, Mrs. Norman Thielman and Miss Dorothy Thielman, sister-in-law and sister, respectively of the bride; both chosen for roles of bridesmaids. They were attired identically in gowns that had fitted, velvet bodices with square necklines, short sleeves and chiffon skirts. Crushed cummerbunds of chiffon had panels that extended from the waist to the hem. First-listed person carried white pompon chrysanthemums and pink demure roses in crescent style with azalea colored ribbon. The other had bouquets of similar design but made of feathered carnations and pink demure roses. Two cousins of the bridegroom, Randall Nack, best man, Lyle Krause, groomsman, with Norman Thielman, the bride's brother, and two ushers, James Zimbal, another cousin of one principal, and Alan Gartman, who is a cousin of the bride, completed the wedding party.

A buffet supper and wedding reception for the couple wed was held in Town Wilson Hall, where 600 guests greeted them. Those from out-of-state came from California, Indiana and Minnesota. Others were present from Racine, Oshkosh, Two Rivers, Milwaukee, North Fond du Lac, Merton, Port Washington, St. Nazianz, Cleveland, Newton, Plymouth, Sheboygan Falls, Adell, Oostburg and Kohler.

Plans for the wedding trip are not being revealed but after Sept. 14, the couple will be residing at 1503 S. 7th St. Central High School is the alma mater of the bride, class of 1957, and also her husband, who was graduated in 1955. She is employed at Sheboygan Paper Box Co., he at Commercial Engraving Co.
