Miss Diane L. Richter Is Bride Of Samuel Livermore

The Rev. Robert M. Hoeller celebrated the Nuptial Mass in which Miss Diane LaVerne Richter became the bride of Samuel H. Livermore. The wedding ceremony was performed Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Peter Claver Church. For the occasion, the altar of the church was decorated with arrangements of pink gladioli, white carnations and white snapdragons.

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Richter, 1920-A S. 14th St., are the bride's parents and the former gave his daughter in marriage to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Livermore, 1821 Elm Ave.

The Rev. Joseph M. Wanner directed the singing of the Claverlads during the service. Accompaniment at the organ was provided by Mrs. Jerome Hardy. A gown of nylon embroidered tulle over satin was worn by the bride. The dress featured a fitted bodice with a scoop neckline and long tapered sleeves. The bouffant skirt was full length and had a front panel of alternating rows of ruffled net and embroidered tulle. A fingertip veil fell from a pearl queen's crown and the bride carried a cascade of pink sweetheart roses, white carnations, centered with a pale pink cymbidium orchid, and ivy. She also presented a blue taffeta basket of white carnations and ferns with white lace and ribbon trim at the Blessed Virgin's altar.

Miss Judy Richter, a sister of the bride, wore a ballerina length gown of white lace over pale blue taffeta, when she appeared in the role of maid of honor. Detail of the dress included a high scoop neckline, which came to a V at the back, short sleeves and a taffeta cummerbund with a bow and streamers at the back to the hemline. Miss Richter carried an arrangement of pink carnations and blue forget-me-nots with ivy in a pink taffeta basket covered with forget-me-not blue ribbon.

Darker blue taffeta and cummerbunds were used in the otherwise identically designed gowns worn by the bridesmaids, who were Miss Diane Roob and the bride's cousin, Miss Bernice Gutknecht. They held similar floral arrangements of pink carnations and ivy in pink satin and lace baskets tied with pink ribbon.

Best man at the wedding was a cousin of the bride, Gary Richter, while a brother of the bridegroom, Herman S. Livermore, and Jon Arndt, attended as groomsmen. Duties of ushering were performed by Arthur Luckow and George Hoffman.

Standard Hall was the scene of a dinner for 50 guests and later a buffet supper and reception for more than 350 relatives and friends was held there. A short wedding trip to Chicago, Ill., is being taken by the newlyweds, who after Wednesday will reside at 927 S. 14th St. In July, the couple plan a trip to eastern states, including New York, New Jersey, Washington, D.C., and Virginia.

Central High School is alma mater of the bride, class of 1958. Currently, she works in the office of the Associated Seed Growers, Inc. in Sheboygan. The bridegroom is a molder as Potts Foundry, Inc.

Out-of-city guests attended from Milwaukee, Manitowoc, Fredonia and Plymouth.
