The marriage of Joe W. Dwyre and Nell C. Rietmaster of Mitchell was
solemnized Tuesday, Aug. 6th, at 9 o'clock at St. Michael's Holy Catholic
church, Mitchell, by Rev. Father Regan.
The bride was attired in a becoming suit of blue, with a white hat and wore
a corsage bouquet of sweet peas. The bridesmaid, Miss Dorothy Thranow of
Milwaukee, wore a suit of Khaki, with a white hat and wore sweet peas also.
Bert Rietmaster, brother of the bride acted as best man. After the nuptial
mass the bridal party, together with the intimate relatives and a few of
their friends, motored to the home of the bride's parents, where a tasty
four course dinner was served. The bride and groom left that afternoon for
a short trip to Green Bay and Depere. The bride's former home was at Green
Bay until two years ago when she moved with her parents to the town of
Mitchell. She has a refined and pleasant personality, which is the
maintainence(sic) of many friends. The groom is a son of Wm. Dwyer and is
an ambitious young man of sterling qualities. Mr. and Mrs. Dwyre will
reside on one of his father's farms in the town of Mitchell.
Their host of friends, together with the Home Guards of this city, of which
Mr. Dwyer is a member, wish them success and perseverance in their new
career.
