Miss Judith E. Treichel Is Wed To Keith G. Lieding

Nuptial promises were made Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock by Miss Judith E. Treichel and Keith G. Lieding, who were wed in Immanuel Lutheran church. The bride's brother-in-law, Dr. Walter O. Forster of Indianapolis, Ind., officiated at the service for which the wedding march was played by the father of the bride, Principal F. E. Treichel, 1424 Virginia avenue.

Three preceded the bride down the aisle. Her roommate at Valparaiso university, Miss Martha Stelloh of St. Louis, Mo., was chosen as the maid of honor. A sister of the bride, Mrs. Edwin C. Halverson of Manitowoc, and a sister-in-law of the bridegroom, Mrs. Vernon Lieding, were the bridesmaid duo. A brother of the bridegroom, Calvin Lieding, attended him as best man. The two groomsmen, Waldemar Treichel, the bride's brother, and Eugene Hurtienne, doubled as ushers.

Immanuel male choir sang "The Lord's My Shepherd", and Miss Doris Barker's solo number was "The Lord's Prayer."

The 6 o'clock wedding dinner was served at Wegner's Heidelberg club to 40 guests. During the evening, 100 relatives and friends greeted the couple at the home of the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Lieding, 2037 North Twentieth street, where the couple will be living after returning from a week in northern Wisconsin, and before going to Madison.

A graduate of Central High school, the former Miss Treichel's freshman year at college was at Washington university in St. Louis, and last year she was a student at Valparaiso university in Indiana. Mr. Lieding has his diploma from North High school. After a period of service in the army, he enrolled at the University of Wisconsin where he has completed his sophomore year in a pre-med course.

Guests from away at the wedding were the following: Mr. and Mrs. Walter Treichel, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Kelling, Mrs. Carl Barz and Gertrude, Miss Ruth Krause, Miss Edith Neuhaus, Miss Lee Hoppe, all of Milwaukee, Mrs. Walter Forster and daughters, Vivian and Constance, Indianapolis, and Edwin C. Halverson, Manitowoc.
