Miss Margaret Schils Is Bride Of W. O. Lieding

Miss Margaret M. Schils and Lt. Wallace O. Lieding were united in marriage this morning at St. John's church in Kohler where the Rev. John J. Carroll officiated at the 10 o'clock nuptial mass.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Schils of Kohler. The serviceman's parents are Mr. and Mrs. August B. Lieding, 2037 N. Twentieth street.

Coming from St. Louis, Mo., to be one of the bridal group was the bride's cousin, Miss Lois Disbrow, who was chosen as maid of honor. The quartet of bridesmaids included Miss Phyllis Hettinger, Miss Jeanne Marks, a sorority sister and roommate of the bride at the University of Wisconsin, and in junior roles, the Misses Beverly and JoAnne Lieding, sisters of the bridegroom.

As best man the bridegroom had his brother, S/Sgt. Keith G. Lieding. The groomsmen were Edward Mahnke and Elwood Kroos. Guests were ushered to pews by two brothers of the bridegroom, Vernon and Roger Lieding.

Vocal selections were presented by Miss Mary Naset of Madison, sorority sister of the bride.

A wedding dinner and reception were held at the Heidelberg club, members of the immediate families and intimate friends comprising the group of 150 guests in attendance.

The destination of the couple's wedding trip of three weeks is not being disclosed. After April 1 they will be located at Fort Bragg, N. C. Both Lt. Lieding and his bride were graduated from Kohler High school. The former Miss Schils has been a student at the University of Wisconsin where she affiliated with Delta Zeta sorority and served as treasurer of it. The bridegroom is a member of the 82nd Airborn division.

Guests from away at the nuptials are Mrs. Herbert Disbrow, St. Louis; Mrs. Richard Mitchell, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Schrader and son, Evanston, Ill.; Mrs. Christ Herman, Mrs. Jessie Moritz, Miss F. Kittell, Milwaukee; Mrs. P. Ronk, Port Washington, and the Misses Kay Okoneski, Ruth Ann Mescar, Ardis Bobb, Pat Freihammer, all sorority sisters from Madison and Miss Ethel Bahr of the same city.
