Goldman-Dickfoss Nuptials Take Place Saturday

The nuptial service of Miss Kay Goldman and Wayne Dickfoss was held Saturday afternoon in Ebenezer Lutheran Church. The Rev. Erich Keller read the ceremony at 5 o'clock. Two bouquets of white pompons and candelabra were decorations for it.

Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb Goldman, 501 Euclid Ave., are the bride's parents. Two attendants made their appearance before the bride and her father walked down the aisle. Mrs. Allan Hoffman, matron of honor, wore an emerald green velvet gown, fashioned with a long torso top, portrait neckline and tulle over taffeta, floor-length skirt. An emerald green velvet halo with matching veil was worn as the headpiece. Flowers carried were a star-shaped colonial bouquet with holly. Dress, headpiece and flowers of Miss Penelope Teumer, the bride's cousin, were in duplicate of those of the other person in the wedding party.

Junior bridesmaids, Kathleen Goldman, the bride's sister, and Linda Teumer, her cousin, were dressed similarly. Each person in the procession had matching velvet mitts. The latter two persons carried bouquets that were smaller in size than those held by the others.

A floor-length, net-over-satin and three-tier net side panels were details of the bridal gown, which held a Chantilly lace back and front panel with a lace peplum. The fitted bodice was designed with long sleeves. Pearls trimmed the portrait neckline of the gown. Her half-hat pillbox of lace and accordion-pleated tulle had jewel trim. A pure silk bridal illusion veil was attached to it. White pompons, arranged in a star shape colonial bouquet, had mistletoe intermingled.

Brothers-in-law of the bridegroom, Wayne Launer, best man, Roger Paasch, groomsman, with uncles of the bride, Milton Teumer and Melvin Wolf, showing guests to places, were others taking part in the service.

"Because" and "The Lord's Prayer" were the nuptial songs that William Senkbeil contributed to the service. He was accompanied by A. G. Sommerfeldt. Besides the wedding supper, served to 35 persons at Kneevers Hotel, a reception was held at Croatian Hall, where 400 relatives and friends greeted the newly wedded couple. They came from Chicago, Ill.; Milwaukee, Racine, Oshkosh, Menasha and Brillion.

Following a short trip, the destination of which is not being divulged, the couple is at home at 501 Euclid Ave., beginning today. The bride was graduated from North High School this year. She is an auditor at H. C. Prange Co. Her husband, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Dickfoss, 146 Wisconsin Ave., Brillion, is employed at Plastics Engineering Co.
