Miss Delores Mae Krauss Is Bride Of Jerome Katte Here

Miss Delores Mae Krauss was the bride and Jerome Katte, the bridegroom, in a 3 o'clock nuptial service in the rectory of St. Peter Claver Church on Saturday. The Rev. John Litzau was officiant of the service.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. John Krauss, 1136 Georgia Ave. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Katte, 1920 S. 14th St.

A waltz-length gown of fine Chantilly lace over white satin was attire of the bride. It featured long sleeves which came to points over the wrists and a small standup collar. The skirt was made up of panels of lace and nylon marquisette. Seed pearls trimmed the Juliet cap of matching lace, to which a fingertip veil of English imported net was attached. Lilies-of-the-valley, white feathered carnations and ivy, centered with a white orchid comprised the bridal bouquet. The bride wore a single strand of pearls, a gift of the bridegroom.

The gown worn by the matron of honor, Mrs. Richard Krauss, sister-in-law of the bride, was a blue antique taffeta, also in waltz length, with a full skirt. She also wore a hat of matching taffeta and nylon mitts. The bouquet she held was comprised of pink carnations, lilies-of-the-valley and ivy. Richard Krauss, brother of the bride, was the best man.

Kneevers' Hotel was the scene of the wedding dinner for 25 guests and in the evening a reception for 200 relatives and friends took place at V.F.W. Home. One week of the honeymoon is being spent at Eagle River, Wis., and the couple then will go to Chicago for a time. After June 20, Mr. Katte and his bride will be at home at 1426 S. 10th St.

A 1947 graduate of North High School the bride is employed in the office of Wisconsin Public Service Corp. Her husband received his diploma from Central High School in 1944. He is a bookkeeper at the Sheboygan Clinic.

Guests from beyond Sheboygan and Manitowoc counties were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Herman, Waukesha; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Booton and family, Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Drexler, Fredonia, and others from Port Washington and Milwaukee.
