Dorothy Katte And Lawrence Richter United In Marriage

The wedding of Miss Dorothy Leona Katte, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Katte, 1938 S. Fourteenth street and Lawrence Richter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Richter, 1632 S. Twelfth street, took place at 9 a.m. Saturday, in St. Peter Claver church. The Rev. C. J. Hausner celebrated the nuptial mass. The bride wore a princess gown of white satin with lace inserts and a long train. Her embroidered lace veil was designed with a cap and was held in place with a crown of pompons and sweetpeas. Her flowers were an all-white shower bouquet of roses and delphinium.

Miss Luetta Katte, attending her sister as maid of honor, wore a peach chiffon jacket dress and Mrs. Aloys Richter, who was her sister-in-law's bridesmaid, appeared in an aqua chiffon frock, also designed with a jacket. Both attendants carried mixed bouquets. Bernard Richter was his brother's best man.

The ceremony was followed by a wedding dinner at the home of the bride's parents for the immediate family and a supper for 100 guests. Present from away were Mr. and Mrs. J. Borton and family, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. C. Crexler, Fredonia; Mr. and Mrs. J. Hutchison, Manitowoc; Mrs. Elizabeth Olson, Mankato, Minn.; Frances Richter, Rose Theisen, Josephine Schumacher, Nadina, Minn.

After August 1, the bride and bridegroom will be back from a honeymoon trip and at home in a newly-furnished flat at 1938 South Fourteenth street.
